Service Description
IASTM works like a standard massage, but specialized instruments are used in place of a massage therapist's hands. These instruments allow more direct treatment of the soft tissues involved with movement. IASTM refers to a technique that uses instruments in a quick, rhythmic gliding or "scraping" motion applied to the skin over soft tissue dysfunction to remove scar tissues from injured soft tissues. This breaks up scar tissue and adhesions, allowing the muscles and fascia to be separated. Separating the muscles and fascia allows them to lengthen and facilitate a faster and more efficient healing process through formation of new extracellular matrix proteins such as collagen.
Cancellation Policy
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please do the courtesy of contacting us at least 24 hours in advance. Deposit is non-refundable if schedule appointment canceled by client within (less than) the allowed 24 hours advance cancellation timeframe. In the case of a late cancellation, a cancellation fee in the amount equal to 50% of the cost of the service booked will be charged minus the deposit amount. This allows us to pay the therapist for their time and/or have the opportunity to schedule another client for that appointment time slot. Thank you
